NEW YORK CITY, 2002-2003
The Comic Book Project was first piloted in over 33 after-school sites in New
York City. The pilot was administered with the help of three important advocates
for urban education: The After-School Corporation, Partnership for After-School
Education, and the Youth Development Institute at the Fund for the City of New
York.
